Why you can't trust Wikipedia

Isn't it relevant to know that a senior government official goes on to make millions as an executive in the corporations that he or she once was to supposed to regulate? The Clintons made $100 million making speeches in corporate America after they left office. That can be construed as retroactive bribery.

Similarly, Julie Gerberding went from head of the CDC where she made around $200,000 a year to Merck where she reportedly has been granted more than $20 million in stock. This needs to be publicized. Yet, if  you go to the Merck website and financial statements, they aren't talking about it. Additionally, Wikipedia doesn't talk about it. And if you add the information as I have, the mysterious editors remove it, as mysterious Wikipedia editors often do claiming that they don't accept your sources. It seems they only accept corporate media. So if you thought that Wikipedia was some kind of independent information source run by cool dudes you are wrong. I suspect that corporate and government employees sit on top of the pages that are relevant to them.

It used to say this:

In late 2009, Gerberding became president of Merck's vaccines division.[8]

I changed it to this:

In late 2009, Gerberding became president of Merck's vaccines division[8] where she earns more than $2.5 million a year and has received at least $20 million in stock.[9]

and my source was this:

Cáceres, Marco (February 19, 2020). "Former CDC Director's Net Worth Estimated at $13.5 Million". thevaccinereaction.org. Retrieved 2020-02-20.

The mysterious editor reversed my changes and left this note:

Then I posted this:

In late 2009, Gerberding became president of Merck's vaccines division.[8] According to form 4 SEC filings, between 2015 and 2020, Gerberding sold $23,968,010 in Merck stock.[9] Since July of 2016, she has served on the board of directors at the Cerner Corporation (NASDAQ: CERN), a health care technology corporation.[10] On July 17, 2020 she sold 36,285 units of CERN stock worth $2,902,800.[11]

Dr. Scott Atlas, MD, of the Hoover Institute of Stanford University on COVID-19

“But there’s a more fundamental point that I want to make sure have time to address and that is this idea that somehow has evolved that we must stop cases. That was never the policy, that should never be the policy when you have an infection that 99% of people have no problem with. It’s no big deal if low risk people get the infection. It’s really irrational to somehow keep apart healthy younger people, to insist that they should wear a mask, or that there should be some limit in restaurants. If you are high risk, you are high risk. But the most recent data shows that the infection fatality rate for people under 70 is 0.04%. That’s one-one hundredth of the original number. And what that means is for people under 70 years old your infection fatality rate is less than or equal to seasonal flu. If people want to shut down things because of that kind of risk then we better shut down all the schools and restaurants during November through April [every year] because that’s the flu season. The same risk people for this are at risk to die from the flu. And so there’s been a complete loss of common sense here. In Arizona specifically, yes, the cases are increasing, like they are in Texas, and Florida. It doesn’t matter if we see the following analysis which is that the vast majority of people are younger, healthier people. When we have more social mingling, we will get more infections. That’s obvious. There’ a contagious disease present. If we get more testing, we will see more infections. That’s obvious. But the point is that this is not nearly as deadly as what people thought. We see that the states that have more lax or more open policies, none of them are even in the top 15 of deaths per million. It’s the states with the lockdowns that are not the states – I mean Arizona ranks last I looked at 21st. Florida is something like 27th. Texas is 40th in deaths per million. Yes, there are more cases but there are not more virulent terrible results of those cases. We don’t see more and more ICU beds being used and I’m going to explain that in a second. We don’t see more deaths. We see decreasing deaths.  When we see what’s happening in the ICUs and the hospitalizations there’s another factor besides the fact that it’s younger, healthier people. We know from looking and speaking to the doctors and the hospital administrators that they are testing every person who comes in. And that means, let’s just say for example, a woman comes in to deliver a baby she’s tested for COVID-19, she’s positive, they categorize that as a hospitalization for COVID-19. I mean these are people that are asymptomatic. They are not hospitalized for COVID-19. They are hospitalized with COVID-19. And the same thing is going where the hospital needs to isolate people who they think are infected even if they are in for something else, OK, and so we isolate them, and some of them are isolated in ICU beds. So the numbers they have to be looked at more carefully. There’s no kneejerk response of fear. OK, there is a decreasing deaths per day. It doesn’t matter that young healthier people get the infection. In fact there’s a positive. Because we know the way to get immunity in the population is to have more people who are lower risk get the infection and become immune. That’s the whole point of giving vaccines to stop the pathways of the virus to the most risky people. That’s why we give widespread populations vaccines, for herd immunity. And the way naturally to get herd immunity is to have low risk people have the infection, they build up immunity, and eventually the pathways to the high-risk people are blocked. There’s nothing wrong with more cases. The only thing that counts is protecting the people who are going to die. By the way, we look at the hospitalization data, yes there are more cases, but even the people who are hospitalized, have much shorter length of stay. Those hospitalizations are not translating into very serious bad outcomes. So the panic here is again a manifestation of irrational people and irrational people in charge frankly. And it’s really a sad state of affairs to me, although it’s confusing, it’s sort of embarrassing in a sense to be among Americans who are so compliant, so acquiescent to irrational infringement on what their rights are.”

What killed him?

Boy gets flu shot, gets flu, gets Tamiflu flu medicine, appears to have negative reaction to it. Dies.

Excerpts:

"Niagara Falls turned orange on the night of Jan. 18 with spotlights the favorite color of an 11-year-old local boy who died from influenza A—despite having been in excellent health, getting a flu shot, and receiving prompt, best-of-the-best medical care."

"That Monday morning, he was clearly ill and his parents took him along with his younger sisters—aged 9 years and 3 months—to their longtime pediatrician. All three children tested positive for influenza A. The doctor prescribed Tamiflu, along with Gatorade and lots of water.
That Tuesday, Luca awoke with his face slightly swollen. His parents took him back to the doctor, who determined that he otherwise seemed fine and suggested it may have been an allergic reaction to the Tamiflu. He returned home and there still seemed no cause for worry as the father flew off on a work trip."

"At 1:44 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 11—a week after that basketball game when he had seemed exactly himself, six days after that uncharacteristic nap, and five days after he first was ill enough to be taken to a doctor—Luca was pronounced dead."

What killed him? Was it the flu, the flu vaccine which may have given him the flu, or Tamiflu?

The SS used a variety of ruses

To achieve their purposes, all death camps used subterfuge and misdirection to conceal the truth and trick their victims into cooperating. This element had been developed in Aktion T4, when disabled and handicapped people were taken away for "special treatment" by the SS from "Gekrat" wearing white laboratory coats, thus giving the process an air of medical authenticity. After supposedly being assessed, the unsuspecting T4 patients were transported to killing centres. The same euphemism "special treatment" (Sonderbehandlung) was used in the Holocaust.[40]

The SS used a variety of ruses to move thousands of new arrivals travelling in Holocaust trains to the disguised killing sites without panic. Mass deportations were called "resettlement actions"; they were organised by special Commissioners and conducted by uniformed police battalions from Orpo and Schupo in an atmosphere of terror.[41][42] Usually, the deception was absolute; in August 1942, people of the Warsaw Ghetto lined up for several days to be "deported" to obtain bread allocated for travel.[43] Jews unable to move or attempting to flee were shot on the spot.[44] Even though death in the cattle cars from suffocation and thirst was rampant, affecting up to 20 percent of trainloads, most victims were willing to believe that the German intentions were different.[45] Once alighted, the prisoners were ordered to leave their luggage behind and march directly to the "cleaning area" where they were asked to hand over their valuables for "safekeeping". Common tricks included the presence of a railway station with awaiting "medical personnel" and signs directing people to disinfection facilities. Treblinka also had a booking office with boards naming the connections for other camps further east.[

Mercury (Thimerosal) in Vaccines

FAQ's About Mercury (Thimerosal) in Vaccines

Mercury in Vaccines

Q: Is it true that all the mercury has been removed from vaccines? How much mercury is in the flu shot and other recommended vaccines? Should I go out of my way to find a thimerosal-free flu shot and where can I find one?

A: Even though most of the vaccines routinely administered to infants in the United States no longer contain more than trace amounts of ethyl mercury in the form of Thimerosal, the entire vaccine supply is not Thimerosal-free. The most notable exception to this is the seasonal influenza (flu) vaccine. Most, but not all, influenza vaccine still contains Thimerosal. Notably, many vaccines used in third world countries are mercury containing and exceed safety guidelines established in the United States.
Information on vaccines that contain significant amounts of Thimerosal can also be found on the Food and Drug Administration's website and Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health's Institute for Vaccine Safety website.
Manufacturers began voluntarily removing Thimerosal from pediatric vaccines around 2000. It is assumed that most pediatric vaccines containing Thimerosal were “off the shelves” by 2003. (No vaccines were recalled.) Even so, most infants are still routinely given Thimerosal-containing influenza vaccine even though there are Thimerosal-free and vaccines with trace amounts of Thimerosal. Infants receiving a Thimerosal-containing influenza vaccine are dosed at 6 months with 12.5 mcg of ethyl mercury and at 7 months with an additional 12.5 mcg. Adult Thimerosal-containing vaccines contain roughly 25mcg. These Thimerosal-containing version exceed federal safety guidelines mentioned earlier. For more information, you can review a special write-up on the NVIC website, titled "Aluminum and Vaccine Ingredients: What Do We Know? What Don't We Know?"
Depending on the vaccines administered, at six months of age, infants today born to mothers who received flu vaccine during pregnancy could receive up to 71 mcg of ethyl mercury compared to 187.5 mcg prior to efforts to decrease the amount of thimerosal in infant vaccines. Additionally, the CDC guidelines recommend that all children receive an annual influenza vaccine beginning at 6 months of age. As a result, the total amount of thimerosal given to children under 5 years of age is almost what it was prior to 2000.
There are other sources of mercury exposure in infants. Specifically, it should be recognized that influenza vaccine recommended for pregnant women and some rhogam preparations contain ethyl mercury in the form of thimerosal. Total mercury burden include other sources including dental amalgams (silver fillings), food especially some types of fish, and air pollution from coal-fired power plants and wildfires.
Concerns regarding mercury in vaccines were addressed in a letter published by the Journal Pediatrics on March 13, 2008 (update 3/17/2016: letter is no longer available online). As noted in the letter, parents and pregnant women may want to consider the following data and make an informed decision.

  • 0.5 parts per billion (ppb) mercury = Kills human neuroblastoma cells (Parran et al., Toxicol Sci 2005; 86: 132-140).
  • 2 ppb mercury = U.S. EPA limit for drinking water.
  • 20 ppb mercury = Neurite membrane structure destroyed (Leong et al., Neuroreport 2001; 12: 733-37).
  • 200 ppb mercury = level in liquid the EPA classifies as hazardous waste.
  • 25,000 ppb mercury = Concentration of mercury in the Hepatitis B vaccine, administered at birth in the U.S., from 1990-2001.
  • 50,000 ppb Mercury = Concentration of mercury in multi-dose DTaP and Haemophilus B vaccine vials, administered 4 times each in the 1990's to children at 2, 4, 6, 12 and 18 months of age.
  • 50,000 ppb Mercury = Current "preservative" level mercury in multi-dose flu (94% of supply), meningococcal and tetanus (7 and older) vaccines. This can be confirmed by simply analyzing the multi- dose vials.

Thimerosal in Vaccines

Thimerosal is a mercury-based preservative that has been used for decades in the United States in multi-dose vials (vials containing more than one dose) of medicines and vaccines. There is no evidence of harm caused by the low doses of thimerosal in vaccines, except for minor reactions like redness and swelling at the injection site. However, in July 1999, the Public Health Service agencies, the American Academy of Pediatrics, and vaccine manufacturers agreed that thimerosal should be reduced or eliminated in vaccines as a precautionary measure.

Thimerosal contains ethylmercury.

Mercury is a naturally occurring element found in the earth’s crust, air, soil, and water.  Two types of mercury to which people may be exposed — methylmercury and ethylmercury — are very different.
Methylmercury is the type of mercury found in certain kinds of fish. At high exposure levels methylmercury can be toxic to people. In the United States, federal guidelines keep as much methylmercury as possible out of the environment and food, but over a lifetime, everyone is exposed to some methylmercury.
Thimerosal contains ethylmercury, which is cleared from the human body more quickly than methylmercury, and is therefore less likely to cause any harm.

Thimerosal prevents the growth of bacteria in vaccines.

Thimerosal is added to vials of vaccine that contain more than one dose (multi-dose vials) to prevent growth of germs, like bacteria and fungi. Introduction of bacteria and fungi has the potential to occur when a syringe needle enters a vial as a vaccine is being prepared for administration. Contamination by germs in a vaccine could cause severe local reactions, serious illness or death. In some vaccines, preservatives, including thimerosal, are added during the manufacturing process to prevent germ growth.

The human body eliminates thimerosal easily.

Thimerosal does not stay in the body a long time so it does not build up and reach harmful levels. When thimerosal enters the body, it breaks down to ethylmercury and thiosalicylate, which are readily eliminated.

Thimerosal has been shown to be safe when used in vaccines.

Thimerosal use in medical products has a record of being very safe. Data from many studies show no evidence of harm caused by the low doses of thimerosal in vaccines.

There are some side effects of thimerosal in vaccines.

The most common side-effects are minor reactions like redness and swelling at the injection site. Although rare, some people may be allergic to thimerosal.

Scientific research does not show a connection between thimerosal and autism.

Research does not show any link between thimerosal in vaccines and autism, a neurodevelopmental disorder. Many well conducted studies have concluded that thimerosal in vaccines does not contribute to the development of autism.  Even after thimerosal was removed from almost all childhood vaccines, autism rates continued to increase, which is the opposite of what would be expected if thimerosal caused autism.

Thimerosal was taken out of childhood vaccines in the United States in 2001.

Measles, mumps, and rubella (MMR) vaccines do not and never did contain thimerosal. Varicella (chickenpox), inactivated polio (IPV), and pneumococcal conjugate vaccines have also never contained thimerosal.
Influenza (flu) vaccines are currently available in both thimerosal-containing (for multi-dose vaccine vials) and thimerosal-free versions.

heathline:

https://www.healthline.com/nutrition/mercury-in-tuna#contamination

Tuna contains more mercury than other popular seafood items, including salmon, oysters, lobster, scallops and tilapia (1Trusted Source).
This is because tuna feed on smaller fish which are already contaminated with varying amounts of mercury. Since mercury is not easily excreted, it builds up in the tissues of tuna over time (2Trusted Source, 3Trusted Source).

Levels in Different Species

Levels of mercury in fish are measured either in parts per million (ppm) or micrograms (mcg). Here are some common tuna species and their mercury concentrations (1Trusted Source):

Reference Doses and Safe Levels

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) states that 0.045 mcg of mercury per pound (0.1 mcg per kg) of body weight per day is the maximum safe dose of mercury. This amount is known as a reference dose (4).
Your daily reference dose for mercury depends on your body weight. Multiplying that number by seven gives you your weekly mercury limit.
